Hi, I’m Melissa and I am a Paediatric Occupational Therapist.
My particular interest in offering handwriting trainings stems from working with children for the past 18+ years who are struggling in this area and I have had the joy of applying research to my clinical practice with these children and evidencing improved outcomes.
I am passionate to share of this evidence-based practice with you, so you can see, how simply developing automated handwriting, can truly help improve your students’ literacy abilities and overall capacity for learning.
My 18+yrs experience as a Paediatric Occupational Therapist includes:
working as a clinician with hundreds of children across varying ages and diagnosis
speaking and training by invitation, both locally and internationally, online & in-person, to parents, students, educators/teachers, librarians and therapist
It sounds cliche, but in all sincerity it is my passion to see children blossom and families, educators/teachers and therapists empowered and equipped!
