As a high school graduate from Toowoomba, I trained as a Graphic Designer before living the dream in California. Upon returning to Australia, I studied Education and Visual Arts at USQ. Fast forward 30 years and my teaching career has taken me across four states of Australia (including 10 years at Emmanuel College and King’s Christian College as the Art Specialist) and abroad. Whilst in the UK, my greatest claim to fame was meeting Princess Margaret at a Royal Garden Party. We mused about both being short! Random but true. I am a Mum of three wonderful young adults and also a besotted cat-mum to three Exotic cats. For the record, I am partial to soy chai lattes, the colour pink, tending my cottage garden, photography and interior design. I shall end with the reminder that: “Creativity is intelligence having fun.” This is so true at It’s ARTrageous.
