I have over 20 years’ teaching experience and have taught all ages of primary school students in whole class settings and have supported students with learning difficulties in smaller groups and one on one. I have worked in Australia and Internationally.
My passion lies with early intervention and supporting diverse learning needs. I aim to improve literacy and numeracy outcomes and to assist children to overcome obstacles in order to improve their self-esteem and reach their full potential. I strongly believe children learn best when they feel safe, happy and valued.
I have completed extensive studies in Learning Connections and understand the importance of movement in a child’s development which I have incorporated into my teachings.
Being passionate about early reading, writing and oral language development I have adopted the PLD Literacy Program into my early intervention and tutoring sessions.
I am a proud mother of three beautiful, spirited boys whose early development and school readiness was built around the fundamentals of MIND, BODY and SOUL.
